When should I change my filter?

What does SEER mean?

SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating. The higher the Seer the less it costs to operate your system. In some cases, you may save enough each month in operating cost to pay for a new system. 

 

What size system should I buy?

Since many factors come into play such as square footage, insulation, occupancy etc We recommend that you call for an appointment for one of our Comfort Consultants to assist you in this decision.

 

How quickly can your company install my new system?

After acceptance of the proposal, we will promptly order your system and schedule a time that is convenient for you. Since our distributor is located locally, most systems are stocked and ready for

installation.

 

How long will it take to install?

Each system is different. However, rule of thumb is replacements without redoing ducting can normally be completed in one day. For an installation with all new ducting it may take an extra day or so. Our Comfort Consultant will give you this information during your home evaluation.

 

Do I need to be there during the install?

Not necessarily, however, we do prefer it. That way we have the opportunity to explain the system to you and answer any questions you may have during installation.

 

What is your warranty?

Carrier offers a standard 5 year parts and labor warranty on Puron units. An extended 10 year warranty is available upon request.

 

How do I choose an air conditioning contractor?
