PARTS ONLY WARRANTIES
The Parts Only warranties must be purchased and registered within the first year from the installation date of the covered equipment. The installation date is defined, as when the unit is wired, piped and ready to run, not necessarily when the unit is first turned on. The coverage period of any warranty begins and expires based on the original equipment installation date, even if the warranty is purchased at a later time.
Warranties are non-renewable. Coverage under the Parts Only warranties is limited to the failed part of major components only. Parts are defined as an operating component of a covered product, excluding compressors and heat exchangers. Compressors and heat exchangers are defined as major components and have separate, specific coverage options. Parts Only warranties do not cover inspection services or routine preventative maintenance outlined in the installation and servicing instructions or owner's manual, such as coil cleaning, filter cleaning and/or replacement and lubrication. Robert Madden Industries, L TO encourages these services for the customer. Equipment failure resulting from lack of maintenance will not be covered under these warranties. More that one option may be purchased; however, this may result in overlapping coverage. Under no circumstances will more than one claim be allowed for a given covered failure, including failures which may be covered under a Parts & Labor warranty. This warranty does not apply to any parts not supplied or designated by Robert Madden Industries, LTD. Only components that are a part of the registered unit(s) are covered. Items, such as line sets, etc., are not covered. This warranty does not cover any labor costs incurred for examining, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing or handling of either defective or replacement parts. Labor allowances may be allowed where the cost of repair is less than the cost of replacement. In the case of a failed condenser coil, Robert Madden Industries, L TD will allow for either repair or replacement of the part, whichever is most advantageous.
